“Pearl of Africa” Grand Tour

Overview

Uganda got the name, "The Pearl of Africa", from Winston Churchill's book "My African Journey" in 1908. Today, you get to discover the reason behind the name. You get the opportunity to follow a community of chimpanzees from the moment they wake up, until they build their new nests for their night's rest. Experience the sightings of the only wild rhinos in Uganda, enjoy a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel where you will get to see elephants, the Nile crocodile and hippo, as well as a variety of bird life. Your trip will end with a beautiful morning guided nature walk in the Lake Mburo National Park with a hilltop view of the gorgeous lakes.
